Friday, May 7th

Early start to my day as usual, 4:30 wake up call - out the door by 4:50. I was able to mix in with my morning crew this morning where we did the Hillside Avenue Loop totaling 2.8 miles. We all finished right around 21:00. Decided to mix in a moderate distance run today due to the relatively difficult week of max effort lifts and heavy circuits. For myself this was my 4th day in a row of training - the body is starting to feel it.

Went home afterwards and had a good breakfast:
3 egg/1 egg white fritata with pepper, onions, tomatoes and some cheese on top
cup of coffee
1000mg fish oil caplet

Had to run out quickly for some meetings. In between meetings was able to throw down a quick snack:
Cup of yogurt
Banana
2 scoops organic peanut butter
Bottle Water

After meetings got back to the training center and had some lunch:
2 tomatoes cut up with onions and balsamic vinegar mixed together
5 oz deli turkey meat
Serving of fats through peanut butter as usual - quick and easy
1000mg fish oil to finish it off.

Had some time to kill before athletes came in so i got a quick max effort deadlift in:

1x315#
1x365#
1x405#
1x455#
1x495#
Not up to my usual 1RM of 520# (shown below), but legs were pretty wiped out from hill runs from earlier in the morning.


Time to get to work as the athletes are rolling in shortly.
